Back in the early 1900's Royal Worcester manufactured small porcelain boxes which were often used for cosmetics but also as decorative objets d'art to give as gifts or to contain treasured objects. Inspiration for this new Connoisseur Collection of china boxes has been drawn from a combination of Royal Worcester's historical archive patterns and contemporary design. Each box is manufactured from fine bone china and the decoration is skillfully applied by hand before finishing with a 22 carat gold plated hinge.
